Four more top staffers exit sinking Bernie Sanders campaign

http://www.dailynewsbin.com/news/four-more-top-staffers-exit-sinking-bernie-sanders-campaign/24842/

The Bernie Sanders campaign, behind by millions of votes and no longer having any shot at the democratic nomination, has already seen its fundraising drop off by nearly half from March to April even as its California campaign director left the building last week, is now facing a further exodus. Four more key members of the campaign are now departing, including three more top people in California, a state which Sanders still insists he can win despite not having enough of a remaining budget to properly campaign there.

At this point the entire California leadership team for the Bernie Sanders campaign is gone. This comes just three weeks before the state is set to vote in its democratic primary on June 7th. One of the top tech people for the campaign is also leaving, stating that he “didn’t really have a lot to do” anymore.

While it’s not clear how many of the moves are a result of budget shortfalls or how many are simply due to the unrest that comes at the end of a losing campaign, the Sanders campaign saw its fundraising plummet from $46 million in the month of March to just $26 million on April. Now that he’s fallen even further behind in the race and it’s become clear to most of his supporters that he has no chance of catching up, his May fundraising has likely fallen off even further.

This comes even as he heads into California, by far the most expensive state to campaign in due to its massive size and the need to rely on heavy television advertising. Sanders has publicly hemmed and hawed on whether he’ll run ads in the state or not, which suggests that he’s not sure if he can afford to, even as he continues to spend millions on renting out large arenas to hold rallies which have already proven not to translate into votes or wins.

Meanwhile it’s not merely his top staffers that are deserting Bernie Sanders. He also lost one of his relatively few superdelegates this week, and numerous democratic leaders have criticized him for his poor response to a violent frenzy on the part of his own supporters at the Nevada convention. As if to add insult to injury, “Bernie Lost Me” was the top trending topic on Twitter today as his supporters explained why they were abandoning him.

Staffers are leaving it would nice if doesn't have enough money to carry the few states we got to go yet...

As the campaign winds down , what kind of healing effots will he make? Will he be a gracious loser, and use his influence and ideas to help us defeat Trump in the fall?
We shall see how he measures up...

He is going down in flames when he does not even have to. He is taking the most destructive, scorched earth path possible. I made a mistake when I initially thought he was a good 'next best' option to Hillary.

His temperament and judgement make him a disaster and I no longer think he can handle the rigors of the job, at all. He is going to pieces in a campaign where he has performed pretty well. He could integrate all those gains into a fantastic cooperative alliance but he is destroying goodwill, burning bridges and ignoring common ground. All of those attributes are critically important for the leader of the free world. He does not have them.

which have already proven not to translate into votes or wins.

Bernie blew his wad fast and furiously. Now he's at the bottom of the barrel. Clinton was criticized by Bernie supporters because she didn't have big rallies. Well guess what, they cost lots of money. Bernie is running on fumes now. Wonder if they're still paying his family and Tad and Jeff? What a scam artist.

media attention with ever smaller rallies and outlandish statements. That's what happens when the money dries up.

Did you all see that his two rallies in the Bay Area yesterday yielded only 5K TOTAL. This in a metro area of over 7 million. People are losing interest.

Or school is out.
