How Hillary will dump Trump.

A post by tigerakabj over at Political Wire:

Clinton is doing right -- making sure this is a team effort.

As good as Clinton is at wiping the floor with her enemies (e.g. Benghazi kangaroo court), to really take down Trump and his party it is currently a team effort. Trump can't respond to everybody at once. Unlike the GOP neer-do-wells who had no game, he is going up against some of the best politicians today.

Obama. Already with his Rutgers speech, it is clear that Obama will destroy Trump among young voters. After all, he is the current sitting president and has the biggest microphone.

The Big Dog. President number 2 will be out there as well bringing the point home that Donald is merely a failed-businessman that has only escaped complete bankruptcy because of loopholes. That's two.

Warren. Trump is losing big to her in the Twitter wars and she is also just getting started. She has grown into one of the most prolific fundraisers and is the top Wall Street watchdog. She also loves her role as the ultimate attack dog.

Reid. "I don't give them hell. I just tell the truth and he will think it's hell." He's carried on the Dirty Harry way and is going to rip Trump to shreds over those missing tax returns. He'll also throw some speculation in there about what could be in it (e.g. loans to drug traffickers; ties to the mob, offshore tax havens) to make sure the media keeps it covered.

Priorities USA. Formerly Obama's 2012 re-election outfit, it has already bought out tv, digital, and radio time from May 18th - July to dismantle Trump. 4 years ago they tore apart Romney so by the time Romney tried to etcha-sketch his way back to the middle it was too late. The 47% comment only validated what was already believed.

Trump won't have the same GOPers of this level of caliber going to bat for him (he's insulted pretty much everybody so any pivoting they do now will be negated by ads like the one Clinton put out showing their true feelings). $100 million from Adelson won't be anywhere near enough or effective. When you've alienated half of your own party, don't expect them to bail you out when the heat gets too much.

My prediction? Trump will either try to leave the country between August and November, have a mental breakdown on camera, yell some obscenity that will cause about a 10 point drop in the polls, and/or get into the trouble with the law that will have people wondering if he will be indicted prior to the polls closing on November 8th. The GOP will wish at that/these point(s) that they had just went ahead and thrown the presidency in favor of trying again in 2020. Because Trump will hurt the party that bad.

As the article says, he is not as rich as he claims to be. He has very limited fundraising ability. He has few friends in the Republican party. The Koch brothers are sending money only to down ticket races. His primary cost him very little, in part because he received free MSM coverage and in part because his opposition was diffuse and unremarkable. What he spent on his campaign (very little) consisted mostly of money borrowed by his campaign from his personal wealth.

He may need at least $500 million to be competitive, and I doubt that he will get it.
