Hillary's ideal running mate

I don't think the running mate needs to be female, or hispanic, or other minority group, although there could be pluses from someone like that. I think the main characteristics we need on the ticket are:

1. Can be seen as able to step in as President, so needs strong resume
2. Good at connecting with people
3. Not seen as an insider, so probably not a long record in DC
4. No scandals (of course)
5. Good at responding to questions and hitting the right notes.

The candidate that meets those qualities goes on the short list!

I will respect whatever choice Clinton makes.

2. They will need to have the ability to work with congress to push bills through.

3. I see that as a plus but could be done by other

administration members.

4. I expect that our candidate

will make the right choice, and while I certainly have opinions as to who's been leaked from the "short list", she'll do what's best!
