Elizabeth Warren tweets and tweets and tweets.

About Trump. Shortly after Trump was declared the winner last night, Warren let loose with a series of tweets. From Talking Points Memo:

She pledged to try her hardest to keep Trump's "toxic stew of hatred & insecurity" out of the White House.

.@realDonaldTrump is now the leader of the @GOP. It's real - he is one step away from the White House.

— Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) May 4, 2016

Here’s what else is real: @realDonaldTrump has built his campaign on racism, sexism, and xenophobia.

— Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) May 4, 2016

There's more enthusiasm for @realDonaldTrump among leaders of the KKK than leaders of the political party he now controls.

— Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) May 4, 2016

.@realDonaldTrump incites supporters to violence, praises Putin, and is "cool with being called an authoritarian."

— Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) May 4, 2016

.@realDonaldTrump attacks vets like @SenJohnMcCain who were captured & puts our servicemembers at risk by cheerleading illegal torture.

— Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) May 4, 2016

And @realDonaldTrump puts out out contradictory & nonsensical national security ideas one expert called "incoherent" & "truly bizarre."

— Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) May 4, 2016

What happens next will test the character for all of us – Republican, Democrat, and Independent.

— Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) May 4, 2016

It will determine whether we move forward as one nation or splinter at the hands of one man's narcissism and divisiveness.

— Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) May 4, 2016

I'm going to fight my heart out to make sure @realDonaldTrump’s toxic stew of hatred & insecurity never reaches the White House.

The Republican Party really does agree with the racism sexism that Trump displays. They created him. They gave him a platform. In general, the Republican pParty has always been racist, bigoted assholes!

They agree with Trump and will rally behind him.

He is all the things Warren says, but Republicans couldn't care less. They seem to have been playing "How Low Can You Go?" for a long while now, and as the result keep stooping even lower. Trump is among his own in GOPland. They will rally behind him, except maybe a few who can no longer hold their nose and stick with their party while it continues to fish the toilet for its platform.

Endorse the front runner and soon to be candidate for the Democratic party Senator.

11. I could take her more seriously if she would finally endorse already. Coyness has lost its cuteness.

13. It will keep her from ticking off Sanders fans prematurely, however.....

Trump is the GOP nominee. Warren knows that for all practical purposes Hillary is our nominee. Bottom line, when she says she will go all out to defeat Trump, she is essentially saying that she will go all out to support Hillary. Patience. (That is the Japanese symbol for patience on my Avatar image).

14. There's nothing for Warren that's going to make ripping that band-aid off any easier.

She either deals with the Bros now, or deals with them later, but dragging her feet isn't going to magically get her off the hook in any situation. They're going to be angry at her whatever she does, so what does it say about her if she really is letting herself be bullied by Sanders' supporters? Nothing good, IMO.

She needs to "ovary up" and be an adult about it. It's long past time.

unless she screws up and disses Bernie before he is ready to capitulate. Hillary has already won. We need 90% of Sanders supporters and the Bros can stay home and post on DU all day and night.

17. Warren's voice has clout

Which is why I think she's far more effective in her Senate seat than entertaining fantasies about a VP slot.

This tweet is particularly strong:

'What happens next will test the character for all of us – Republican, Democrat, and Independent.'

Think that's squarely on the mark. Anyone supporting a Trump presidency will be forever stained by their vote for a psychopathic liar. That includes the media who've been swooning over the revenue The Donald generates and/or the click bait on the blogs.

The national nightmare has begun.
