Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumTook a look at some numbers and I am thrilled at what last night elections revealed.
These are the votes cast in last night's primaries. I also threw in NY. In every single state the Democratic votes far exceeded the Republican vote totals and in a couple of cases the Dem vote almost doubled the Republican vote.
Hillary votes in every state exceeded Trump's votes. In some cases "HUGELY".
I hope this bodes well for the general election even if some of the Bernie voters sit it out, go for 3rd party, or whatever.

(11,588 posts)Trump is going after them now. Bernie Sanders needs to man up and if he really believes his supporters "are the future of the Democrat Party" he had better start working to get them to back the woman he has been demonizing in order to win against. We will see what he is made of for once and for all.
Your move Bernie. You are really up to bat, now.

(23,690 posts)Some of whom are truly anti government or are Rand Paul acolytes and some just RW trolls who wanted to disrupt and derail the Clinton campaign. But in my heart of hearts, I so want to believe the majority of them are rational, serious voters, who really do care for the well being of the US. Who when push comes to shove, they will vote for Hillary, if for no other reason than it will be a vote against Trump.

(11,588 posts)Like you said, many of his supporters are rational, and with a little reassurance from Bernie they would easily make the transition. If Bernie continues on as a divider, a whole lot of his supporters will find their way behind Clinton on their own, but it would be much better if he knocked off his divisive rhetoric and stopped putting down "conditions" to bring his supporters into the fold.

(11,588 posts)It is obscene. Hopefully it won't wind up being a sizable number of people. It is hard to imagine how one could become a member of that group

(1,968 posts)My mother voted for Kasich last night as "the only one who's not completely ****ing nuts" in PA.
(I called and told her, "So you were the one who voted for him!" She called me a nasty name that implied that my father wasn't my father).
She's going to be voting for Madame President Hillary Rodham Clinton in November...she cannot stand Trump, Cruz, or Rubio.

Facts and actual votes are just so inconvenient.
