Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumSanders pulling a Trump
At a rally in WV (his best bet for a win after tonight) blaming the process, closed primaries etc. Pointing out that he was screwed in NY because the independents couldn't vote for him.
He also continues to (disingenuously) point out that he would beat Donald Trump by bigger margins than Hillary. Disingenuously because he knows damn well that that if the Republicans decided that he was a real threat, they would grind him to dust.
At least in the short segment CNN showed, Sanders was not yet personally attacking Clinton as he has been lately.
EDIT: I have to admit that one of the many reasons why I want Hillary to win badly is not one about which I am particularly proud. Bernie Sanders has so irritated me lately that if he were to be the nominee, I don't think I could vote for him.

(11,649 posts)i don't feel sorry for independents. if you want to vote you register.
as a lifelong democrat i have a hard time understanding "independents" -- those people who say "i vote for the person -- not the party". there are big differences between the 2 parties -- educate yourself.

(24,149 posts)Why should people who don't think much of Democrats vote in the Democratic primary?
(Or hang out on Democratic Underground, for that matter?)
It's the same old idea of making change by standing on the outside, rapping at the window and yelling.

(3,248 posts)Too many people think being Independent means you are somehow nobler, above partisan scrabbling.
Being neutral in the face of the horrorshow that is the Republican Party isn't noble--it's just a sign of the lazy thinking of a wannabee nonconformist rebel.

(27,815 posts)... I've yet to see him take responsibility for anything. Everything is someone else's fault - low-info "Confederate state" voters, poor people who "don't vote", media "blackouts", etc.
I guarantee you this man has never in his life admitted he was wrong about anything, or is even remotely responsible for anything that doesn't go his way.

(27,815 posts)... and I've known their wives. They invariably attract women who enable their behaviour, who see their man as infallible and without fault.
I got the same vibe from Anne Romney as I do from Jane - extremely defensive of their "always right" husbands, to the point of actually being astounded that others do not see their men in the same light they do.
I'd bet my life on the fact that Jane has never questioned Bernie's decisions, actions, or words - ever. What he says goes, and every discussion ends right there.

(14,532 posts)I was wondering why she rubbed me the wrong way. Her public persona is exactly like Cruz's and Romney's wife.
