Didn't want to burst his bubble. My area of SoCal skews red, so I admire someone who is probably having a lot of doors slammed in his face keeping on.

before the NC primary. An adorably nervous young man called. I was probably the first person who actually picked up. I reassured him that I had already early voted for Clinton. I remember MY first time..... phone banking. It IS nerve-racking at first.

That is what our country needs: people involved and actually working on it.
I hope that he keeps studying and learning. I am 70 and I have never stopped learning.
And, I hope that he never becomes jaded and cynical.
