Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumI'm finally saying it out loud.
I'm with her. I have been since she declared. Heck, before that when the rumors were running around about a run. I proudly gave her my vote in the primary and I donated what I could, around $25.00.
Look, I like Sanders. He has interesting ideas. I just don't think he can implement most of them. I tend to be more like Clinton : slow and steady. Huge jumps don't win in the long run. Her plans are more likely to be implemented .
I finally feel like I can say it: I'm with her!

(29,674 posts)I don't like arguing and used to come to DU for a bit of peace. We're getting towards the end and the fighting will die off.

(11,588 posts)It can be a bit overwhelming. I live in an area like that, too.
Supporting Hillary Clinton is making history (herstory)!!! First an African American president, and coming up a woman president! Anyone across the social spectrum can now set their goals to whatever they dare to dream! That's exciting!

(29,674 posts)And I do think he means well. I think he really wants to change things for the better. The problem is that he tends to be one issue and doesn't have a truly comprehensive plan even for that .
I vote on numerous issues. For me, there will never be a perfect candidate. Clinton does a good job with enough issues overall that I'll happily vote for her. ( I already did a month ago.)

(6,551 posts)I've lost respect for Sanders. On Meet The Press today, he was asked why he has lost 16 of the 17 primary races including in particular those with the greatest degree of income inequality.
He responded: poor people don't vote.
Way to go Bern - blame poor people. What's next, the weather didn't work in his favor?

(4,640 posts)and to get his support, she has to run on his platform. He's DELUSIONAL.

(29,674 posts)Addressing the whys and the barriers for the poor doesn't make a good sound bite.
Someone needs to address the why instead of making the poor and working poor look stupid and lazy.
