Related: About this forumElectoral Votes and Population Comparison - Clinton - Sanders
Another way to see how Clinton leads Sanders.
Electoral votes of states won:
Clinton: 252
Sanders: 93
Electoral votes of states won for states that Obama won in 2008:
Clinton: 128
Sanders: 51

Electoral votes of states won for states that Obama won in 2008:
Clinton: 128
Sanders: 51
Below is courtesy of George II's post
Total population of states that have voted: 238,422,427
Total population of states won by Clinton: 185,615,127 (78% of total)
Total population of states won by Sanders: 52,807,300 (22% of total)
It should also be pointed out that most of the states Sanders has won have been rural caucus states, most of the states that Clinton has won have been mixed urban/rural primary states.
Of the 23 states that have conducted primaries, Clinton has won 17, and Sanders with his "momentum" hasn't won a primary since March 8, Michigan, and that was only by 18,000 votes.
