Bernie Sanders will end up spending a quarter billion dollars .......

http://www.dailynewsbin.com/opinion/bernie-sanders-will-end-up-spending-a-quarter-billion-dollars-just-to-lose-by-millions-of-votes/24564/

Bernie Sanders has spent his campaign for President, and indeed much of his career, decrying the “big money” involved in elections. So it may qualify as ironic that when it’s all said and done he’ll have blown through a quarter billion dollars or more in the name of trying to win the democratic nomination, a far greater amount than anyone else running in either party’s primary race in 2016 – yet for all his outsized expenditures, he’s set to lose by around three million votes.

Sanders spent $46 million in the month of March, bringing his total campaign expenditures to $168 million of as March 31st. The pace of his expenditures has been accelerating, and he’s now burning through money every bit as quickly as he collects it. That suggests he’ll embark on even larger expenditures in April and May. But even if he levels off and remains on his March pace, he’ll end up having spent more than $250 million in the primary race when it’s all said and done.

Notably, Hillary Clinton has spent far less money during the democratic primary race, yet she’s received 2.7 million more votes nationwide than Bernie Sanders has. She currently leads in the polls in every remaining state where polling is being conducted, suggesting that once the voting is over she’ll have won by more than three million votes.

Majority-rules is how elections are supposed to work. Accordingly the 2016 democratic primary has demonstrated that even when a less popular candidate spends money excessively to try to gain an edge against a more popular candidate, it doesn’t always work. It just turns out that the less popular candidate spending the big money and the more popular candidate with the lesser expenditures was Hillary Clinton. That goes against every supposed narrative you’ve heard in this race, but the numbers can’t be argued.

and paying for these big rallies.

Hillary is doing well because she has built relationships and done the time-consumming work that must be done to connect to people on the ground. Sanders is throwing money at the election, trying to buy his way to the WH.

What does is matter where the $ comes from? It's the hubris that thinks tons of money will trump traditional relationship building efforts that is offensive here, not who is funding the offensive strategy.

....of questionable campaign contributions.

His campaign can't even tell us how many people have contributed to his campaign because they're in such disarray.

And if you knew anything about campaign finance laws you would know that Clinton has not received "millions from a few millionaires."

Maybe if Sanders, Weaver, Devine (at $800K + a month) AND Sanders' supporters would take a few minutes to bone up on campaign finance laws, these silly attacks from them might stop.

Now, as you have been advised, this is the Hillary Clinton Group. As my mother taught me as a child, with respect to Hillary Clinton ant this Group - "if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all".

Thank you.

Raises bigger amounts it must be from big money and judging from the FEC notices of those giving more the allowed $2700 apiece and having to return says Sanders is taking big money. We also know Sanders is influenced by NRA.
