I swear I am staying away until after June.

This entire site has been hijacked by Sanders supporters. I feel confident that many of the most vocal are really Republicans trolling as supporters. Every single republican I know would rather run against Bernie than Mrs. Clinton. The ads, as I have said before, write themselves.

I was on a jury the other day and I was shocked at what they agreed to hide. Anything positive about Hillary and negative about Bernie and they vote to hide, not discussion. Anyone who disagrees with them are not true "progressives", not sure what I have been all these years.

I need to stay away from here for a while it is bad for my blood pressure.

On the other hand, consider that it may have been taken by an ardent Hillary supporter who couldn't afford her own and was too embarrassed to admit it. It's now proudly adorning her apartment window.

I am called a liar many times per day, and insults are standard fare.

And, June is about right. This will be dragging out until the bitter end. Too many delegates at stake in CA for HRC to finally put him away until June 7.

than out in the real world trying to change minds there...that's why I go to GD from time to time an throw out a little red meat. Trust me, it takes nothing mean, just some mention of how she was a private citizen when she gave talks to corporations, or how she has been shown to be the most honest of any presidential candidate.

It's the same reason I will try and keep those awful telemarketers/scammers on the phone as long as possible. I figure if they are tied up with me (usually I have them on speaker while going about my regular tasks) then they are less likely to prey on poor seniors or other more trusting people. Same reasoning here...give them stuff to respond to on DU, and they are less likely to be harmful in the larger community.

but it's going to get really ugly before Bernie's supporters realize that he's fighting a losing battle.

Like you, I think many recently joined Bernie supporters are only here to drag Hillary through the mud, but the level of hatred that has been coming from long time members has been really disappointing.

I'm sure the admins are horrified at what DU has become and are already putting new rules in place before the next primary. We know they'll clean house when Hillary is the official candidate but I hope they just do it when the math becomes insurmountable for Bernie. There will be gnashing and wailing and a mass exodus (with most slinking back under new names after a few months) when Hill anyway wins so why wait until then? After NY and PA, just do it. No attacks on either candidate. You can continue to advocate for your choice but attacks on the other candidate should be deleted.

And now I only look at my own subscriptions. I don't visit the home page or GDP--it feels like I'm visiting a right-wing blog with better spelling.

I think it is pathetic that people keep stealing your signs. I remember that in 2004 when the fine upstanding Dubya supporters stole Kerry signs nightly in our community. My son was the volunteer who kept having to put new ones out, so we were very aware.

Describe Bernie in one word

The negative one (against-Hillary) stays on the front page while the positive-affirming one (pro-Bernie) keeps falling off, though I did add "Fauxcialist" to it as my daily snark.

But relax a little as many of their 'chance to serve on jury' are slowly tanking to 0% and, if you don't comment in threads that most of them have, you can serve on a jury related to that thread.

If you see something anti-Hillary don't post in it, just wait for an alert.

It's not 18 hours between service anymore, either; I served with 12 hours in between... either that or DU is running out of eligible jurors.

...and that's why I never venture outside this group anymore. I see enough of the Hillary bashing on every other site, plus in the real world.

This weekend I was visiting family and my sister-in-law casually asked who I was voting for. Her response when I said Hillary was, "Ew...but no one likes her!" Then I saw my cousin (a lifelong Dem) and he said, "Unfortunately, it looks like we won't get the good candidate, Sanders..." I asked him why he didn't like Hillary and he said,"I can't trust her any farther than I can throw her."

If this lasts much longer, I think my health will start to suffer...lol. The mindless anti-Hillary sentiment infuriates me. Neither my sister-in-law or my cousin really knows much about Clinton - they're just parroting what they hear their friends say.

REASON FOR ALERT

This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.

ALERTER'S COMMENTS

Calling DU Bernie supporters republicans, especially from a protected group where DU Bernie supporters cannot respond, is insulting and offense.

You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Sun Apr 17, 2016, 08:26 PM, and the Jury voted 1-6 to LEAVE IT.

Juror #1 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #3 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: I feel that way myself some days - although I think it's at best "some" vocal Bernie supporters rather than "many".
Juror #4 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: This post is worthless, but relatively inoffensive.
Juror #5 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: Nope. Nope in the 3rd degree. All the way nope. Nuh-uh, no, no nope.
Juror #6 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: This is not political discussion, but a slanderous attack on Bernie supporters. This has gone both ways as I have seen accusations of this nature made by Bernie supporters get hidden, despite a confession of a paid Hillary troll. It's not right to do it either way. Let's all try to stick to the issues and be more civil to each other.
Juror #7 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given

Thank you very much for participating in our Jury system, and we hope you will be able to participate again in the future.
