Today is one of those days we'll tell our grandchildren about. Marriage equality is now the law in all 50 states.
From Stonewall to todays decision, the courage and determination of the LGBT community has changed hearts, minds, and laws. Generations of advocates and activists sacrificed so much for this victory.
This is our country at its best: inclusive, open, and striving towards true equality.
But the struggle for LGBT rights doesnt end with this triumph. Our work is not finished until every American can not only marry, but live, work, pray, learn, and raise a family free from discrimination and prejudice.
I will never stop fighting for every American who needs a champion. D___, are you with me?

Thank you,

This fight is not over. The Republicans will use it as a wedge issue and to promote a constitutional amendment and to raise money much like they have used Roe v Wade for 42 years. We can not stop fighting and I am really glad that Hillary stated that the fight is not over as we still don't have housing, public accommodations, employment rights, etc.
After Roe v Wade the energy went out of the movement. We can not let that happen this time.
FIGHT ON !

See the hate after the Civil Rights Act was passed and other groups still has to deal with day to day hate. I am so happy now that everyone can marry who they love and to enjoy the privileges of all other couples. Enjoy not only today but the future.

or SCOTUS decisions make everything all better.
The harder longer slog is changing hearts and minds, as Hillary notes above.
and is one reason I won't vote for Bernie in the primary, cause he doesn't seem to get this.
