I had to post this somewhere before I go out to the forest and scream. The Pope addresses a letter to Monsignor Sorondo, addressed "Queried hermano:" (SINGULAR) with a message to give to everyone else expressing weeping regret for not being at the conference he never intended to to, and someone posts that the Pope called Bernie brother. Everyone must have that person on ignore because that's just wonderland level delusion.
I can't wait until Hillary wins this and we can put Bernie back in the footnotes where he belongs.

(3,732 posts)Just like their puppet master.
On the plus side, I guess they can't alert stalk us for calling them Berniebros anymore. They'll still probably get us for calling their attempts to silence us Stalinism, so I won't do that.

(1,729 posts)I'm glad you brought that up. It's just another example of the power of devotion being far scarier than the power of greed. I don't believe that corporations should rule over our vote (nor do I think Hillary supports that), but it is far easier to appeal to greed than it is to blind devotion, whether it's extreme religion or extreme politics.

(1,729 posts)The big question is ... how is this not obvious? I looked at that letter and knew right away that's not what was going on and I failed Spanish! Of course, once I read the article, I realized my read of it was correct. I'd have known this no matter who I supported and were I Bernie supporter, I could never have gone on that thread and applauded such sheer idiocy.

(1,729 posts)I'd be like, "Um, I love Bernie, but, um, the Pope didn't say that." I think it diminishes any cause to lie about it.
