Julian Castro's Press Aide Joins Hillary Clinton's Campaign

Betsaida Alcantara, who has led the public affairs shop for Housing Secretary Julián Castro, is leaving to work for the Hillary Clinton campaign.

Castro, thought to be a potential running mate to Clinton, announced Alcantara's impending departure Monday, while a Clinton campaign official told NBC News Alcantara would be joining Clinton's team. She'll be director of media planning, working on longterm media planning for the campaign. Castro's announcement did not mention Alcantara's new position.

Alcantara, who was born in the Dominican Republican but grew up in New York State, adds another Latina to Clinton's campaign staff and press operations.

Alcantara has worked for six years in the Obama administration, including Housing and Urban Development. She served as press secretary for Lisa Jackson at the Environmental Protection Agency and as a communications director at the General Services Administration.

Let me reiterate: Team Hillary is methodical and running this campaign on their own terms.
A little slow for some screaming for her to answer the question, why won't she speak, bla blabla.

Trust her that she as assembled the most high-tech savvy team & also has absolutely done the homework necessary to get to the White House.
The Clintons are pretty well versed in managing campaigns & they well know who's who & how they operate.

This news about Castro should be making everyone in the Clown Car & whomever is challenging Hillaer Clinton, thinking she is an easy mark to beat, move into "Oh Shit" mode.

She will be our next President in 2016.

The Latino vote grows greater with every election cycle.
Add the fact that they have been played, as are all minorities (Women too) in the deal making game in DC, and Hillary Clinton's base just quaddrupled with her support for them.

Hillary Clinton isn't doing this just to gain the Presidency, she is doing this to dismantle the RW strength & because she knows what is at stake for all Americans should the RW win the trifecta.
That is how much this woman loves her country, her democracy & the Americans who make this country their home.
All People's Rights are Human Rights are Equal Rights.

This will be her legacy.
Dust off your CLINTON/CASTRO Bumper Stickers cuz It Will Happen.
Keep the Faith.
Team Hillary is Masterful

..I don't know if HRC would choose him as a running mate. He doesn't have much name recognition and I don't see what he brings to the table in terms of votes - she already wins Hispanics in large numbers. Do you think him being former mayor of San Antonio + maybe a slightly higher Hispanic vote would be enough for her to win Texas??
