however, it's hard to feel bad for the guy who left his 1.5 Million dollar car parked on the street.

I think there's two of those cars here in Mumbai, and I often see one or the other of them racing other cars on the Sea Link (kind of our Golden Gate or Verazzano Narrows bridge) at upwards of 120 mph.

There's nothing per se wrong with having a rare and expensive car: if somebody had a Tucker I would probably want to be friends with him, for instance. But some rare and expensive cars scream out "tool".
