Chinese Man Has Nose Grown On Forehead After Injury In Car Accident

A Chinese man has had a new nose grown on his forehead following a traffic accident last year.

These astonishing pictures show Xiaolian, 22, at a hospital in Fuzhou, Fujian province, as doctors check on his progress ahead of transplant surgery.

The patient underwent the unusual procedure after he neglected nasal trauma treatment following a traffic accident in August 2012.

frostbite. When ready, they cut the skin lose and rotate the new nose down into place. The patient will be left with a lump of scar tissue between the eyes that can be cleaned up later.
