Related: About this forumStolen minivan crashes into river, driver stands naked on top of van as it sinks
Update, 10:30 a.m., Tuesday
Springettsbury Township Police Chief Thomas Hyers said this morning the search to recover the van from the Susquehanna River continues.
"We're still looking," he said. "Getting that van out is critical to our investigation."
Hyers said the water's low temperature and swiftly-moving current have been challenges to the recovery.
"We haven't given up (but) the safety of the divers and the recovery team is paramount," he said.
Update, 7:30 p.m., Sunday:
A man wanted for a carjacking in Maryland led police on a chase in York County on Sunday morning - driving 90 mph at times and trying to ram police twice - then drove a stolen minivan into the Susquehanna River.
