Man shoots himself during Russian Roulette in St. Petersburg

ST. PETERSBURG — A man shot himself in the head with a .44-caliber handgun early Saturday during a game of Russian Roulette, police said.

Officers arrived at a house at 1110 32nd Ave. N after receiving a call about a person being shot. No one was home, but officers saw a trail of blood leading from inside the home to the outside. Marijuana and drug paraphernalia were also found inside, said St. Petersburg Police spokesman Michael Puetz.

Moments later, police were told a man was taken to St. Anthony's Hospital with one bullet wound to the head.
