100 teens stampede Florida movie theater that denied them entry to 'Fifty Shades of Grey'

A stampede of teens stormed a central Florida movie theater after the staff refused to let the under-17 crowd see the R-rated “Fifty Shades of Grey,” officials said.

At least 100 ticketless teenagers burst into the AMC West Oaks 14 in Ocoee on Saturday night, a day after the erotic romance premiered.

"They kind of stormed past the ticket takers ten at a time so they couldn't control who was coming in," Ocoee police Lt. Mike Bryant told the Daily News.

Staff at the 14-screen theater tried to slam down security grates but the underage thrill-seekers forced open the entrances and pushed inside, police said. The crowd quickly swelled to an estimated 800 teens.

On Monday, West Oaks Mall announced that unaccompanied minors will no longer be allowed at the mall after 9 p.m. The curfew goes into effect immediately, the mall told the Daily News.

No one without their ticket stub leaves until they have talked the cops and their parents called to pick them up.

Obviously, they are not mature enough to be in public unattended.

I'm sure everything is automated nowadays, but cut power to whatever equipment is used to run the film. (And yes, I know it's probably not actual film.)
