I can feel the warmth of the sun, which is more than I can say for here. Yikes, it's 27 in Boston this morning! Brrrr, stay warm my dear.

I don't plan to budge out of the house today. BTW ~ it's up to 28 now.

I need to look at warm pictures.

Many years ago I had a Hawaiian newspaper sent to my home in New York for a month. I was looking to see if it was a realistic dream to find a job and move there.

Been back only twice since then.. not enough. Wonderful place, wonderful people. Visited Oahu, Maui and Kauai, this time will make it to the Big Island. I found cheap lodging, not hard if you do your homework, and hung out with the locals.
Hawaii became a state in 1959 when I was 11, and I made plans right then to get there. Took a while, but I made it.
