So on the issue of a face saving fig what do you think Boehner will get:

Big, medium, small or nada?

I predict nada.

This time is different in part because the way that Boehner framed the last time.

If you remember the last time Boehner got his lunch handed to him and then said "I got 100% of what I wanted".

This fueled a false impression that it was a successful strategy. If even the smallest fig is given then Boehner will crow so the whole point this time is to teach Boehner a lesson and make sure no more fuel is added to the fire.

I shiver to think that he is actually in the line of succession for the office of the President.
