A police officer sits at a desk under a sign reading “Hypothetical Small Town Police Department” A man that we will refer to as Bill is in a disheveled suit rushes in to the main desk.

Bill: I’d like to report a crime! I was just carjacked at gunpoint!

Officer: Certainly sir, do you have insurance?

11. I got 'XML Parsing Error: undefined entity' 2X on the OP link; then it came through; can't there now

Google earch gives several results, but clicking on any link yields the 'XML Parsing Error: undefined entity' message.

I used to get this from DU when there was a high level of traffic. Maybe the server is over loaded?

12. I love it! It's the Libertarian and Rand Paul solution to policing, too.

Got video of him with rifle toting men standing at the ready, joking how he does nott need police, since he has private security. So if you can't afford it, you're at the mercy of gunmen.

Which is what happens without UHC or someone willing to be a decent human being. You go to the ER with a crisis that denies your ability to communicate and sign papers, and you're SOL. When the focus should be getting better. We're just brainwashed to think this is civilized here.

A home catches on fire (an example applauded by conservative media) and if you're not up to date on the private fire department dues, they literally stand around and watch it burn.

Just like they did in the days of ancient Rome, where you'd get service if you paid a bribe, else the people who could put it out would buy the land after the home was gone.

That's what privatization and lack of a public spirit is about in any endeavor. Squeezing those in a bind till the last drop of blood.

Hendrix, you just put that in a way that cut through the lies. Sorry I can't access the rest of your work, seems there's a glitch somewhere.
