Clinton Will Skip Democratic Convention

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will not be attending the 2012 Democratic National Convention, the Charlotte Observer reports.

"This year, she's secretary of State. And as the country's chief diplomat, she's expected to stay above all things partisan" as "various federal statutes and the State Department's ethical guidelines will keep Secretary Clinton in Washington."

as she has a lot of balls to juggle, thoguh I would hope she can tape a message, just so that people would not start the "she is not showing up because she wants Obama to fail" BS that will be stirred up.

Especially with the war on women being so prominent as a part of this year's political fight.

Couldn't she resign as SOS and attend?
