Before Hickenlooper-D entered the 2020 CO US Senate Race,
There were plenty of good Democratic candidates in 2020 CO US Senate Race.
Dan Baer- former executive director of CO Dept of Higher Education and Ambassador to Organation for Security and Cooperation in Europe.
Mike Johnston- former State Senator and 2018 CO Democratic candidate for Governor.
Alice Madden- former majority leader of the CO State House of Rep.
John Walsh- former US Attorney of CO.
Angela Williams- current state senator.
Any of these candidates could have won the Democratic nomination and the November General Election.
