Any chance the Democratic candidates for the 2020 CO US Senate Election serve together?

US Senator Michael Bennet-D resigns in 1/2021 to serve as US Education Secretary under President Biden-D. Before Bennet-D became US Senator in 1/2009, he was the Superintendent of Denver Public Schools.
The loser in the Democratic Primary Election for the 2020 Colorado US Senate Election gets appointed to Bennet's US Senate seat.
If Hickenlooper-D gets elected to Gardner's-R US Senate seat in 2020 then Romanoff-D gets appointed to Bennet's US Senate seat in 1/2021 by Governor Polis.
If Romanoff-D gets elected to Gardner-R US Senate seat in 2020 then Hickenlooper-D gets appointed to Bennet's US Senate seat in 1/2021 as a caretaker. Hickenlooper-D gets replaced in 2022 by 2nd CD US Representative Joe Neguse-D.
