Democrats have a stronger chance of winning the 2020 GA US Senate regular election over the special.

In the Regular Election- both political parties will nominate their candidates for the November General Election in the primary/primary runoff.
If the Republican Nominee- Perdue-R and/or the Democratic Nominee- Ossoff-D get less than 50 percent of the popular vote in the November General Election, they will have to face each other in the runoff.
In the Special Election- all of the candidates regardless of political party affiliation will be on the November 2020 open/blanket primary election. If the first place finisher gets less than 50 percent of the popular vote, He or she will have to face the 2nd place finisher in the January 2021 runoff.
We could see two Republicans facing each other in the January 2021 runoff.
