Related: About this forumProblem with Apple Mail
I'm having this weird problem with the mail app on my MacBook. The problem does not occur on my ipad, which feeds the same email to it as the macbook.
I've been getting an email addressed FROM me, back TO me, and there's nothing in the body of the email, just a subject line that I sent two months ago. I've been having it sent to junk mail, but after I delete it, it comes back again the next day! I've even done a hard delete on my trash can, nothing works.
Any ideas as to what's going on?

(20,886 posts)1. Check your preferences
To make sure you are not cc-ing yourself. Doesn't sound like it, but you never know.

Sometimes that fixes funky mail problems.
It's a Mailbox option.
when I clicked on rebuild, nothing happened.
