Does anyone use a NAS?

We have been thinking about getting one for a variety of reasons.

Does anyone use one and have it serve as your Time Machine target for multiple computers, as a file backup, as a cloud, and as a print server?

What do you recommend? Does the model you're suggesting come with drives? We're thinking 2T.
