"OOPS! We can't find this page"

Every time I try to browse at Ebay, I get the OOPS! notice.

I'm using IE because Firefox froze on me a while back, and so did Google Chrome before that, so I switched to IE.

I ran my AVG virus scan, but it didn't find any threats. The scan didn't fix the problem.

I tried to do a System Restore, hoping that might take care of the OOPS! problem, but I couldn't figure out how to temporarily disable AVG so that I could. I found instructions on how to temporarily disable AVG online, but they didn't work for me.

I don't know what to do. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I read that searchqu is malware. Here's a link to a page that showed me how to get rid of it. So far, it appears to have solved my OOPS! problem.

1, IE is a worthless against malware and etc. mainly because it..and Windows..are the programs most targeted by malware etc. creators. Consider it a big magnet.
NOt to mention that everybody by now knows Microsoft has created a backdoor in Windows esp. for NSA spying.

try any browser except IE.

2. Before I add anything to my machine ( which runs Linux) I check it out online.
Try "complaints bout searchqu" and see what comes up.

and I am going to return to Firefox tonight. My sons would disown me if they knew I was using IE. They hate IE.

I didn't add searchqu, at least not intentionally. I don't know how it got me.

Thanks for the advice. I appreciate it!
