I have hacker or something

On my PC. My screen is taken over by some 'cyber'police who want money before my PC is released. Any idea how to get rid of it?the funny thing is, I can pay the 'fine' by going to Kmart or 7-11 to load the voucher I mean' come on!

It's a Trojan virus. It adopts the message to a location where you are from. I am in UK so for me idwiyo Jul 2013 #1

Download AntiMalware from MalwareBytes.org. That's a well-known trojan. StanGr Aug 2013 #8

a program found at http://www.vipre.com.au/Support/VIPREPCRescue.aspx

This is a command line program. If you have problems using your browser, load this program to a flash drive on a non-infected computer and execute on the infected computer.

I can download the fix from a clean PC onto a thumb or flash drive then insert the flash s drive in my PC and turn the machine on?

Right click on start, open explorer, go to the flash drive, execute the last item on the drive(the icon has a snake on it). Everything after that is automatic. Any infected files will be put in VipreRescue/Quarantine directory. About once a month download a new copy of Vipre for future use.

If this does not work, boot in the safe mode and repeat the steps above.
