"Frankenstein SCSI box": Freeper IT excellence on display

Still working on the new system. Then he's got to figure a way to get the data off the old system and onto the new. Say's he's cobbling together a Frankenstein SCSI box out of our old servers to get the job done. Then he'll have to do a consistency test which takes hours. Could be up tomorrow afternoon if no more problems pop up.

The Ultra320 drives work well with my 6 core 1090T. I have never had any problems with Windows crashing or losing files.

You don't see it at all in desktop PCs, but you do see it in server rooms and other places where there's a need for "heavy metal".

I like those 10k and 15k drives and their fast access times. I have two of each plus a large sata drive for storage.
