Why don't some things load on DU

I see a post, the answers suggest there should be a picture or video, but I can't see it.

Any ideas?

1. if you're at work

some sites that the images are being hosted by may be blocked by corporate firewall.

but I've got more intercepts than a carrier task force.

3. Use the F12 button

view your network activity.
each Get request will have a status.
When a response status is 200, that is successful.
300's are usually redirections to other locations. 400's are miserable failures.

Could be an ad blocker, hosts file or a DNS server issue.

4. try using a different browser like chromium

It appears to be a DNS issue but sometimes a an addon to your browser will block it. An antivirus blocker (addon)might actually block temporarily while checking it out for nefariousness. not necessarily a bad thing. but it might forget to give it to you after checking it out.
