I just got a Galaxy 3s. It's the first Android phone I've had that I believe to be better then the iPhone. It has more features then the iPhone, however, I think the iPhone is easier and more straightforward to use.

Both are great phones.

I'd probably go with the iPhone if those were my two choices. Maybe go to the store and play with them?

Good luck!

The *free* iPhone from Verizon is the iPhone 4 which is getting quite long in the tooth; the Stellar is quite a bit better a piece of hardware. At this point it doesn't really make a huge difference but in a year the iPhone will likely be starting to lag while the Stellar will still have the beef to run the latest software. It's also 4G if that makes a difference to you; the iPhone 4 is 3G so it will have a significantly slower connection.
