It's a free add-on in Firefox. The only conflict I ever had with it was because I also run another ad-blocker alongside, and it blocked access to most functions on ONE site. So I disabled it for that website.

Ad blockers don't all block all of the same things, and a few sites won't load properly when one or more is enabled on that site, so you have to disable whichever one(s) are causing the problem. The one that I have the least amount of issues with (not that I usually have many with the others) is Ghostery.

It seems there's a 14-day trial, then if you wish to continue, it's about $29 a year (thankfully not monthly)

That it is a browser add on, available for the following browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Mac and Opera. It is free and has many good reviews.

So in answer to your question; Yes, I believe it is legitimate and well regarded.

Supposedly, you can watch YouTube with it. YouTube has been blocking adblockers. So, I disable my adblockers. For some reason the adblock software eventually catches up with YouTube and I can use it again.

You may want to edit your OP or create another post with a link to adblock ultimate.
Everyone thinks you're talking about the free version.

Also, it may work on Android Devices:
On Android, it doesn't work on the YouTube App, but may work on YouTube if you open it through their browser?

AdBlocker Ultimate ad-blocking technology is already available in Google Play Store for your Android mobile device. Due to Android OS's policy, we are not allowed to apply our technology across the entire device. Thus we developed our own web browsing app - AdBlocker Ultimate Browser. It is packed with our advanced ad-blocking technology. Since AdBlocker Ultimate Browser originates from users’ most beloved free ad blocking browser extension – AdBlocker Ultimate, it comes with NO predefined whitelist or acceptable ads!

NOTE: In order to see no ads, you need to browse the Internet via AdBlocker Ultimate Browser. Please be aware that AdBlocker Ultimate Browser is a browsing app, not an ad-blocking add-on for your Android device. It doesn’t block ads within other apps (i.e. the YouTube app).

I remember one time, I forgot my MP3 player while working out. So, I went to one of my YouTube Playlists. OMG, the ads.

It may be worth the free trial. If I can watch YouTube via their browser on my phone, I would think it's worth $14/yr.
Hopefully, you can get some better advice about it!

ETA: I read this, but it's from 2016
https://www.businessinsider.com/adblock-ultimate-removed-from-chrome-store-following-trademark-complaint-from-eyeo-2016-4

And this: https://vpnoverview.com/internet-safety/secure-browsing/best-adblockers/

Apparently, there is no trademark on "Adblock", which seems to add to the confusion

(Now, I'm curious too! I haven't been able to use any ad blocker on my android phone. I tried once and I couldn't get online, so I removed it)

. . .and it was great. . .

. . .but now I'm deciding whether or not to pay $29.99 for a full year for 3 devices.

Wonder if it's worth it - after all, I use ESET as my anti-virus software for years (on the advice of friends at MicroCenter) and I've had no regrets with it.

Might be one of those "you get what you pay for" times. sometimes the best isn't for free.
