Dashlane Passkey..

This month's Atlantic magazine has a two-page ad from Dashlane.... talking about getting a passkey from them to get rid of the Bazillion passwords that we collect.
Anybody know anything about this? Good idea?
I'm old, goddamit, and I am tired of having to look up my passwords on my encrypted Password File every time I get the dreaded "Your login or password are incorrect" screen.
School me... please.

It is really good, compatible with any operating system since it runs from a browser.
You only need to remember one password, the dashlane password.

(labeled something else, of course)

Does Dashlane - or the others - assign a password to each of my sites that's impossible to crack?

for the websites you visit. The first time you go to a website and enter your username password it will remember it. Subsequent times, it will automatically log you in. It is synchronized via the cloud so if you have dashlane on your computer at home and also on your cellphone , it will be able to do that from either device.

It also comes with a password generator you can use when creating passwords.
