Users of Opera Browser (and perhaps other chrome-engine browsers?) -- Can't drag a URL?

I am using Opera a lot, especially since the wise-asses at Mozilla slipped in an update (which they later withdrew after an internet uproar) showing ads for some Mozilla service. This is a giant no-no in open source, and I don't trust them.

One thing that Opera wouldn't do was let me drag a URL, in particular, to a "webloc" file, so I could go back to the link later, without either bookmarking it (I have too many bookmarks already) nor putting it in speed-dial.

And files are easier to deal with than the other options.

This turned up, and hits the spot.

It takes some practice, clicking, holding and dragging upward, and then anywhere you want, but this saved me time today, and will do so going forward.

I have been adding dark mode extensions to browsers. (nice!)

Got a new computer (this one is 2014 and getting slow) and I like to start clean, adding apps and such one at a time, so I can focus better, and know what the heck I installed. SSD is smaller than the cheap rotating disk, so I'll be relying more on external drives than I do now. Goodness, I got a 1TB external SSD for less than $100. And it's so small (physically)

So, I'll check it out. Not going to relaunch right now with the updated code because I have countless tabs open.
Yeah, that will slow things down. CPU, memory and disk speed are stressed.

I'll try the new version.

Thanks!
