Comcast turned off my e mail without notice

Phoned them and was offered (instructions via e-mail (another e-mail site). Tried to restore via phone my e-mail with someone at Comcast. Due to the fact I am over 80 and not technically oriented failed to re establish my e-mail with the phone help. Can anyone help or advise me?

I didn't dig into details. It may affect older email programs (on your end)
Perhaps someone has more information on this.

Happened to me once in SF. Never made that mistake again. As a techie I'm wary of loss of EM ownership rights. Many other stable options exist so one's not captive to an ISP.
