Small window above my laptop screen flashes blue....

and the computer makes a sound (dunt dunt?) when the light flashes. It doesn't happen all the time. Some days I'm on the computer and it doesn't happen at all but today to been doing that rather steady.

This is more annoying then anything else as it appears my laptop is running fine. Am curious as to why this happens.

I turned it on and a very small blue light is now lit next to the camera. But it's the camera itself that flashes blue on occasion and the computer make a sound.

I just checked the Webcam Console settings and "Automaticaly Launch Webcam Console" was selected. I watch alot of youtube videos.

I unselected that and I'll see if the flashing stops.

This is the best solution offered by someone I've seen so far:

"I get the same thing, its probally from usteam testing your shit. I rub my butt with Vaseline and moon the camera before it happens. "
