(25,592 posts)Some people must think I would think they are intelligent or something by trying to anticipate what I wanted them to do next and then do it before I told them to. Ahhh..., don't do dat!
Never mind, that that mind set may have contributed to the problem they are calling about in the first place. I've even have gone so far as to put together boilerplate E-mails on some procedures, so when certain people call in, I tell them to check their E-mail.
Experimenting with View can be fun sometimes too. As could everything the user could do with the menus and ribbons of Word 2007.

I ' actually don't mind helping out family. I get a lot of freebies eventually.
My biggest issue with doing it though is *always* trying to fix things over the phone.one has to acquire the skill of talking to somebody like they are a child when you know they are competent otherwise.
