all links in net open with office 2010!

This is very annoying. For example I had gone into my spyware program to request something and their response opened in office 2010 and i was supposed to click one of the links in there. However i get a msg saying office is not configured for that type of thing. Truth is I just want it to open in explorer just like it used to.

Explains would help me help a friend, except that her computer won't let us do this any more...

More information is posted in the topic "Help Please... No longer possible to use system restore" I really need a work around in order to help.

Apparently this for-shit "free" word processor Abriword is now the dominant program on her system, and none of the system "set up files" work, and the system will not let files operate the way they normally would.
