I use a bluetooth wireless mouse....

Today, for no apparent reason, as long as I have Bluetooth enabled, my internet connection is slow to non-existent.
Bluetooth on... nothing. No mail.. no internet.
Bluetooth off... fast everything.
This is new. I've been using the Bluetooth mouse at many different networks with no problem.
What did I do? Or... what did the computer gods do to me?

Have you tried Google ???

They answer most of my questions and many times have a video.

Hope that helps.

I would be lost if I couldn't ask questions on Google.

It is like having a world library and instruction manual for almost anything you can think of.

Good luck.

I bet you didn't make the proper offering of bits to them. You are being punished for that.

I have not heard of that happening before. I don't see any reason for the Bluetooth to interfere with the Net.

I take it you have tried rebooting already.

Even though you did not mention your OS and details, there are a couple things that come to mind. If you are on Windows 8+, turn on airplane mode and then turn it off and try again. That will shut off wi-fi and Bluetooth and then turn it on again.

You can also try looking for a reset button on your mouse. It might be a little hole that you have to push a paper clip into.

Did you recently upgraded to Catalina? Have you checked your updates? It is still young and there may be driver issues, as well.

Just another potential.

Of course, as was mentioned, a search may help if other users have had your issues.

Good luck. Let us know.

5. WiFi?

You didn't say if you used WiFi or not for Internet, but I'm guessing you are .. and that if you used Ethernet you wouldn't see a problem.

Both Bluetooth and WiFi can use the same 2.4 gig radio frequencies. Normally they don't interfere with each other, but it sounds like you're having a bad day. Turning both Bluetooth and WiFi off/on on your Mac would be my first step.

Second step would be to try switching to a 5 gig WiFi signal (if you have one available) since the radio signals of Bluetooth and 5-gig WiFi don't overlap.

And/or maybe one of the suggestions from Apple will help: Resolve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues caused by wireless interference
