Help, I'm in Facebook hell and I can't get out!

Some of the sites that I visit will automatically scroll down below the article I'm trying to read to the comment on faceblob area.
How do I get rid of fb? Or at least keep the page from scrolling down by itself?
To add, it's my wife thats on fb, not me.
thank you for any help I can get.

Goto: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

Right click on Hosts and select Open. If necessary, select Notepad to open it.
Put the following in the open Hosts file
127.0.0.1 www.facebook.com

Facebook should no longer open on that computer. How you deal with your wife is between you and your wife.

Edited to add:

You might just want to have facebook not keep your wife logged in (or automatically log in when she gets there). It should be a check box.

That may resolve your problem without eliminating the ability for her to get to Facebook on your PC.
