That is with no other devices connected to your network. My parents love their fire stick though. I dont know what they have for speeds, probably 100 to 200.

To give you some perspective, I had 75 download a few years ago and we had phones, tablets, computers and gaming devices connected to the network. We would sometimes experience issues with buffering using amazon, bidu etc

And our phone/isp provider, Centurylink has a landline monopoly in our area.
I could go satellite wifi, but we have so many thunderstorms I'd be losing TV AND internet a lot.

If you do, you could get Internet service only from them and then do streaming.

DirecTv Now gives you a free Apple TV 4k with 3 mos off prepaid service. No contract.

It works unbelievably well IMO. I dont love the remote, so instead I use my iPhone and the remote app.

Dtv uses a lot of data though.

9. I had 10 mbps since 2016 and Roku had no buffering issues.

Neither did the Google chromecast device. I did have a lot of buffering streaming directly from a computer (livenewson.com for msnbc live).

Just moved to Spectrum (formerly Time Warner) and have 200 mbps for same cost. No issues w customer service either.

I guess the streaming devices buffer enough to fill in the gaps.
