Where's the "status bar" in Firefox 11?

I know, I'm too lazy to even google this, but I miss having the status bar on the bottom of my browser, even when it is empty. Is the new thing that when it is empty it just disappears?

There is an add-on, "status 4 evar" if you really miss it

Like those using a tablet or netbook. The status bar may be gone but it's been replaced with little popup notifications at the bottom that are transparent.



Sure, I had to move some buttons (no script) I had down there but overall, I like the minimalist approach.

Then you have no menus, tabs, buttons, status bar or anything. Just full-screen internet.

Works on Firefox too.
