Without her doing it, the SOs Facebook account has changed language twice...
Is this a security problem? Is it an indication her account has been hacked?
Or is it just something strange about the way she uses Facebook on her new laptop/tablet hybrid with windows 10?

My wife and I experienced the same thing. Possibly a stray click but more likely a facebook glitch of some kind.

This time it was in Italian and so I went to babelfish to ask for 'settings' in Italian...it came back 'settings'.
By accident I got to settings and then recognized 'lingua' as a possibility

If that is not the reason for her, then the obvious answer is that Windows is cursed, as we Linux people know.
