I have a little Acer Aspire running 7.

Pretty much all I do on it is play classic solitaire while watching tv. Today I installed 10 and solitaire is gone. Now I am reading questions/comments and find that this is a problem with 10.

So, I would like to go back to 7. I stupidly did not create a backup. Suggestions?

btw - If you use abbreviations or tech terms I will get lost very quickly. Thanks in advance for your help.

And look for cards.dll and sol.exe

I much prefer this version to any later version of Solitaire.
I think the files are under System 32 folder. Just copy the files to flash drive and paste them into Win 10, in a Solitaire folder you create. Then make a shortcut to the sol.exe file and put it on the desktop, if they still allow you to do that.
In case you don't know, play around with the right mouse button in the XP version of Solitaire.
Also, alt/shift +2 starts the cascade. But only with the Win XP version. The right mouse button perk was removed from the later versions.
