Strange problem:

Beginning early last night, I began getting the following error message when attempting to reply to any post here at DU:

No data received

Reload

ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

I have no problem whatsoever connecting to any other URL on the internet, even when using my cell phone. I normally use Firefox as my browser, but tried replying using IE, Chrome and Opera, and the result was the same in each instance. A Google search indicates that the problem is with DU's server, but I've seen no one else post about having this problem.

I'd appreciate any thoughts or suggestions, but please bear in mind that I won't be able to reply or answer questions.

Although the problem persisted until at least Noon today, I can now reply, etc. . At all times, I've been able to go anywhere else on the web.

Bizarre.

If you had problems elsewhere on the web, I'd walk you through the standard troubleshooting stuff.

Like many here, I intensely dislike admitting defeat. It was only after I had done all of the diagnostics I knew how to do did I post here.
