Did I ever mention how much I hate Windows 8?

Friend bought a new Dell laptop a few months ago and forgot her password since she hadn't used it for a while.
Needless to say nothing works as a resetter. At one point I actually got to a command prompt with my Windows 8 OEM disk and tried changing something things. "Cannot perform operation due to file not found"-The very file that I just told it to copy and it did.

Try using it for business. This POC is a nightmare with our specialized printers. All the files had to be altered. If you want to cancel printing, you have to wait an hour for the job to cancel. It even crashed the printer queue and would stop even after restarting. It's a good thing we didn't have an inkjet because it would go until the cartridges are empty.

If the Microsoft team can't even get printing down right, they need to clean house and hire someone who can. This is ridiculous.

I would gladly ship and pay you to open MFMs win 8 laptop for me. I want to see if there are any important files and then it could be wiped and 7 or something put on.

Along with about 3 others.
After I told her what fun I'd been having friend said "Can you put 7 on it?" that solved the problem.
