Right-click on the desktop, left-click 'personalize' and in that window click 'detect'.

You can also try different resolutions from there but first...
MAKE SURE YOUR MONITOR CABLE IS IN ALL THE WAY AT BOTH ENDS.

I have no Left click personalize option.

Sorry so long to reply.

This is a laptop issue and I have been on my phone shortly after I posted this.

Now I am home back on the laptop and the letters are stretched out horizontally.

I have never seen this before.

I hit something by mistake. Don't know how I did this.

You can find your display setting in Control Panel. Should be under Appearance & Personalization -> Adjust Screen Resolution, for Windows 7.

trying to fix this I managed to lose my desktop tile ... I deleted it by mistake and don't know how to get it back.

I hate EIGHT and I hate TOSHIBA.

I will never buy another Toshiba product. Never.

I can't afford my service this year and had to cut some grass.

Is everything stretched is horizontally only or both horizontally and vertically?

they were busting out around the edges.

Not sure what happened somehow my hand waved over my fingerpad at the same time my finger hit a key and fixed it which is how it happened to start with.

I hate this machine.

Mozilla did some kind of download/update ...



Things are better but, still -different-

For mozilla I think control 0 (that's the zero key) returns the browser to default font size.
