Google Chrome crew...having plug-in issues.

All of a sudden, youtube videos etc just come up as "missing plug-in". My research last night said that I had to go into the Chrome plug in window and disable one of the two version (two versions is what caused this apparently?) of flash.

Trying disabling one and then the other. Tried refreshing after each disabling. Restarted laptop. No go. Still an issue.

Anybody know how to fix it? Or...can you offer up a better browser?
